Executing a corporate strategy requires building IT solutions that support the foundation of corporate activities.
These solutions are segmented into areas such as management, manufacturing, distribution, and sales, and some are specialized for industries such as finance and retail, so they must be customized for each company.
In IT solutions, highly versatile tool services that can be used over the internet, such as cloud services, are also emerging in various forms.
Under these circumstances, we regard it as important to design the IT support that is truly needed from a holistic (bird's-eye) perspective that considers overall optimization for corporate activities, and we offer this to companies as our IT Solutions Service.
IT solution services offered by various companies can be broadly divided into three approaches: “scratch,” “package,” and “cloud.”
“Scratch” development builds an original system from zero, so it offers a high degree of freedom, but its drawbacks are high cost and a very high probability of implementation failure.
“Package” solutions, as the name suggests, are prebuilt, so they offer a moderate degree of freedom at a moderate cost.
“Cloud” services are designed for convenience and are inexpensive, but many are function-specific, so numerous tools need to be combined skillfully.
What becomes necessary, then, is deciding how to choose between—or how to combine—“scratch,” “package,” and “cloud,” based on budget and corporate strategy.
For example, by selecting and combining several “cloud” services according to the company's objectives and writing some custom programs, it is possible to produce the optimal solution for the company in terms of cost and operation. Unfortunately, however, IT vendors mostly deal in “scratch” and “package” solutions and put their own sales first, so they do not propose using “cloud” services—and the same is true of cloud vendors.
