Works AIR RACE X Business Development

Many air races have existed since the 1930s, such as the Reno Air Races and the National Air Races, but the most famous was the Red Bull Air Race World Championship, held from 2003 to 2019. The Red Bull Air Race World Championship was the ultimate three-dimensional motorsport, in which pilots raced against the clock to the finish while passing through 25 m-high air-inflated pylons (obstacles) in a prescribed order and manner. Consisting of a series of grueling aerial time trials with top speeds of 370 km/h and loads of up to 10 G, it was also known as “Formula 1 of the skies.”
However, with Red Bull's withdrawal in 2019, the race itself was discontinued.
Amid many calls around the world for the race's revival, organizations in various countries worked hard to bring it back, but compounded by the COVID-19 shock, most of these efforts ran aground.
Air race pilot Yoshihide Muroya then took the initiative, and a project to revive the race from Japan started in February of this year,
and the final race was successfully held on October 15 of the same year.

“AIR RACE X” created an entirely new form of “air race” by incorporating some of the highly competitive elements of the Red Bull Air Race World Championship and fusing them with the latest XR (cross reality) technology. It presented an entirely new form of motorsport to the world, and became the world's first to put into practice sports spectating using XR technology.
